Off road for three months July 23 no conviction what do we say on new insurance quote?

    Hello, a friend was off the road last year for three months as was just over legal limit for dink driving. No conviction, has full licence Since 2008. Got licence back October 2023, no issues since. Looking to get new insurance quotes as current insurer is expensive . Has no penalty points.

    On the section where it says any convictions or claims we are saying no, however are we right in saying this as they were off the road for three months? Again no conviction or claims or points currently plus no longer drinking

    You're asking here, but you know the answer.

    What answer do you want?

    Inform the insurance company of the 3 months off the road, if you're (them) is confident it's not a conviction or an issue.

    You(they) will be loaded for being over the limit.

    Fun fact.. by doing a 3 month ban, it wipes out any penalty points that might have been there for other matters.
