    Hi.

Coming from the West, could someone please advise what's the best route to the Bord Gais, as I understand we can't drive down the quays now?

    Thanks a million.

I would rely on Google Maps or Waze if you’re not sure. At the minute, Google Maps says to take Infirmary, North Circular and cross the river at the Beckett bridge. That could change depending on traffic.

You could also park at/near Liffey Valley and take any of the C buses, they’ll drop you right beside the theatre. At the minute, that will take the same time as driving. There’s a mini bus station in the Yellow car park so you’ll have somewhere to sit and shelter from the rain.

But just to note the C buses don't serve the mini bus station in the Liffey Valley car park, so you would still have to walk across the footbridge to the bus stop on the East-bound N4.

It might be just as handy to take the detours mentioned above and use the car park at the theatre.

OR…….using the C buses, you could if you wanted, turn in off the N4 for the Hermitage Clinic/Deadman's Inn and park at the top of that road near entrance to Kings Hospital School for free. The bus stop East bound at Liffey Valley is just up the steps. You have to cross the pedestrian bridge to get there on the way back. Just a suggestion as I think parking in Liffey Valley would be a pain.
