Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A family member has bought a couple of PC parts from Overclockers UK which cost around €180 approx. A little bit earlier he got a text from the courier, DHL, advising that an additional €50 has to be paid on import duties. The parcel is currently with customs in Dublin. If he can source the parts elsewhere can he refuse delivery of this parcel or what actually happens if he refuses to pay the additional €50?

It gets returned to the supplier. If their T&Cs say that it's returned for non-payment of duty and tax they may not refund the money. Some UK suppliers make this crystal clear that taxes and duties are the importers to look after

Thanks for that. Makes sense imo so I'll get him to check the T&Cs.
