Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    • The loan will remain on the registry until it is settled in full plus five years
    • The five missed payments is a question of fact, not opinion! You either missed the payments or you did not, if you did not then you need to dispute them with the CU and have them expunged. If you did, then the register does in deed reflect the true situation.
    • There is a limited option for you to add a comment to your record, although I can't see the point in you doing so
    • Statute barred is a defence in court, but will not change the registry entry

In this situation the CU holds all the cards, unless you will never need to obtain credit again…. what exactly were you expecting as a better outcome?

I’ll probably get flamed for this but here goes:

    3 years is ~1,095 days.

    Your loan balance is €450.

That’s €0.41 per day of saving to pay it off at the end of the 3 years.

Unless you’re in dire, dire poverty, I can’t fathom how 40c per day is beyond your means.
