Ground rent

We bought out of ground rent over 10 years ago but never re-registered it into our name. I have the original lease along with forms A and C. Can someone explain what I need to do with these. Do I need to do anything ?

contact the ground rent section in Tailte Eireann, they will advise you on what you need to do, it’s an easy enough process to do your self, no need for a solicitor

The o.p has already bought his ground rent. It is now a matter for registration. The ground rent section have done their job. If the o/p doesn't get registered soon he might lose his title.

You don't need to speak to a solicitor. You can do it all yourself, which I did. What you need to do is phone Land Registry, and take it from there. They are really, really helpful, and will either help you there and then, or tell you with whom you need to speak next.

It needs to be registered in Tailte Eireann, the ground rent section is part of TE and will be the section which will process the registration
