cannot copy and paste on the new hotmail

,when i try to copy and paste from the new hotmail, i right click and press on copy, then on the page i wish to paste on, it ends up not pasting, when i highlight a piece of text, copy it then try to paste it nothing happens, it remains blank, thanks in advance

the new outlook the changed it three weeks ago, i am using a laptop using edge

Restart laptop(i mean it, not shutdown), clear cache on edge

try using ctrl-c and ctrl-v to copy and paste
