Looking for inspiration for next year, probably June or August. We have been to Martinhal in Portugal and to Princess Yaiza in Lanzarote (3 times now, kids have loved it) but would like something else for a change.

Girls will be 6 and 11, decent kids entertainment is nb, nice hotel for us, ideally 2 seperate sleeping areas (a big plus for the Yaiza)

    Any recommentations?

Your kids are the perfect age for the Ferry/Campsite holiday in France. Lots of good information here

YOu do mention hotel, but i would also recommend a camp site. They are great fun for kids your ages.

What about Duinrell in Holland as well?

I would strongly recommend to look into cruises. Your kids are perfect age and newer/ bigger ships have soooooo much stuff to do. Kids clubs are great and loads of entertainment throughout the day for the whole family. And that’s on top of visiting new places almost every day. Have a look at MSC, I find them great, very family friendly and cheaper than Royal Caribbean. Check out seascanner.com, it’s like skyscanner but for cruises. I would take June over August, not as hot and not as crowded. Cruise cabins are generally on the smaller side but we find cabin with balcony works great for us, gives you that little bit extra space. Some newer ships have “family” interconnecting cabins. Or there are suites if budget allows.
