Very much looking forward to this.

Wyle hasnt had much commercial success since he left ER, Falling Skies was ok, probably survived longer than it should have.

I see there's a hope this becomes ER, but it needs to be a different show, but its interesting he has decided to come back as a medical character.

It took a while to get going, but after 20 minutes I was hooked. Wyle is as watchable as he has ever been.

It's an interesting contrast with Doc (earlier this week on Fox). The characters here have personalities and come across as three dimensional people. 🙂

    Now to episode 2….

Episode 2… tough watch (but good TV). You know that kid who ran is going to pop up again in the next few hours…

Watched up to the latest ep, hour 4. Never got into the many medical dramas outside of ER and House but I'm completely hooked on this. Characters are great and it's well cast. It's incredibly tough going at times but there's enough subtle humour and people not dying lol to balance it out.

Wyle's character is really well written. He's a great boss trying to get the best out of his doctors.

Echoing all the positive comments, and thoroughly enjoying this. Nothing groundbreaking about it just good solid tv drama that captures your attention.

I'm loving it! Hooked from the beginning. Hope there is a S 2

Will Sky air it over here, may Sky Atlantic?

It'll happen, just a matter of when

Just about finished Ep 4, someone just call him Dr. Carter, the Dr. Robby thing does nothing for me 😂

Slow moving but methodical, enjoying it so far

Watched episode 1 over the weekend. Thought it was an excellent start. I do usually enjoy medical dramas.

Did anything ever come of the lawsuit from last August? I assume it was settled because the show made it to air.

Michael Crichton's widow tried to sue Warner Bros because they believed the show was a repackaged ER reboot (the Crichton estate has control over ER and all future spin-offs).

Pretty weak argument, to be honest. If Wyle's character was called John Carter, it might be a different story! 🙂

This is how I find out that the dinosaur book fella created ER!

Breaking news fresh in from 1994.

the guard of honor thing was a bit silly.

I watched episode 1 last night. Not bad. Shame they couldn't make it with the character of John Carter. Southland was another excellent show from John Wells. Nice to see Shawn Hatosy pop up from that show.

Great TV , one of the better Med shows on TV at the moment, Doc (Molly Parker) also on at the moment also deserves an honourable mention.

Another great episode. Tensions boiling over and a bit more humour this week. Almost felt light hearted until the final scene!😯

We knew the end of episode 11 was going to happen. Another fabulous high-tension episode. This show is so good.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,695 ✭✭✭cmac2009

Superb. So rare that a show can keep the quality so high for each epsiode, as well as having 15 of them - which is unheard of these days.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,747 ✭✭✭Mike Litoris

Wow that was intense! Incredible show.

And I just watched it after the finale of Severance. I'm up the wall!😂

Michael Crichton's wife is suing because she says its a continuation of ER which he created https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/crichton-estate-the-pitt-lawsuit-anti-slapp-ruling-1236319934/

I always listen to that music at the end. It's a fantastic track. There are no other shows where I sit through the end credits.

A quote from the composer, Gavin Brivik (taken from Reddit) -

Hi All, quick update: The song will be released on March 28th, and will include the exact instrumental edit from the TV show along with the original vocal arrangement! The songwriter Taji and I will be posting about it shortly, and it will be available anywhere you stream music! The song is called Fail Forward, keep an eye out! -Gavin Brivik

As for the latest episode, Jesus…. the start (with all the instructions being given out) was intense!
