addiction and autism

    Hi all,

    So I have a codeine addiction (Solpadeine, Nurofen Plus), and I started taking them around the lockdown (around 5 years ago). At the moment, I'm on a taper schedule, and I drop a tablet every 10 days. I was on 8 tabs, now I am on 4 tabs, which is fantastic. I'm just looking into professional support (at the moment, I'm managing, but as I go lower and lower on the tablets, I'm going to struggle more).

    Are there any rehab centers (for detox, outpatient/inpatient, or residential) in Ireland that also specializes in autism? I have a diagnosis of Asperger's so I doubt I would cope in a normal rehab centre

    My GP is aware of my addiction, but looking into seeing a different doctor or possibly changing GPs
