My teacher offering me after school grinds-5th year

I’ve been struggling in HL Maths, and my teacher has asked me if i wanted to do after school grinds with him once a week, like in his classroom/ office. It would obviously be invaluable, but i’m a bit concerned regarding the ethics of it and don’t want to end up in an awkward situation, like surely there is a teaching…

It would obviously be invaluable, but i’m a bit concerned regarding the ethics of it and don’t want to end up in an awkward situation, like surely there is a teaching policy that advises against doing a fee paying grind in the school after hours, for one student? I really need one on one grinds as the class style ones aren’t effective for me, but not sure if this is the right thing to do?
