My current one just blew up, 2070super. My system will support the Nvidia 50 series but stock is terrible . Likely to hold out to see the new AMD card.

What are the reputable sites to use these day? Just fyi the sticky with links needs a serious update or delete and start fresh, many of the links to potential vendors don't work anymore.

Bought previously from Overclockers.co.uk and Scan.co.uk

    So others would be:

    Computer Universe?

    Amazon if get lucky?

    ......

https://www.caseking.de/en - OCUK parent company, Germany

    https://www.alternate.de/ - Germany

    https://www.ldlc.com/en/ - France

    https://www.accessoires-asus.com/ - France (ASUS focused)

Off the top of my head anyway. Lot of places on the continent as options, but not all offer direct shipping. Certainly have used those above in the past without issue - plus they sometimes had better access to stock than the UK-based options - GPUs aside, of course. Everyone in the same boat there.

    Thanks,

Will be trawling through those frequently then, in a bind right now so likely to pay for something inflated as soon as something pops up.

What is your PSU? Might want to upgrade that if it's a cheap model before spending big money on an expensive graphics card.

Yup new PSU required but everything else will work for now.

Getting the graphics card will be harder than PSU unless I go with a 4070. Not the worst but if forking out will want to futureproof to replace mb down the line as it's only pci 4 and upgrade cpu when I do that I think.

    PCIe 4.0 is fine, even an RTX 5090 only loses 1% between PCIe 5.0 & 4.0 x16

Good to know, thanks for that!

But the price of 5090 is crazy so likely not to have that problem 😅

Caseking, Computeruniverse and Hagglezon are becoming the standard. You can check out https://geizhals.eu/ but these include some who do not ship to Ireland. You can get around it with Mailboxde but it rarely makes sense before you get into the added complication.
