Zappi not showing PV generation after battery install

    I have Huawei hybrid inverter system with no battery as well as a zappi integrated with solar.

    I could see PV generation in both apps until I had a Huawei battery installed recently. Now the zappi only shows what the house is pulling in the PV gen. graphic and I can only see actaul PV generation in the fusionsolar app.

    Its renerded the zappi solar function unless, the installer tells me this is expected as the battery has first priority now.

    I feel like it should be resolved, am I being unreasonable or should they be able to?

    You should see PV generation if the installer left that CT clamp in place, sounds like he removed it

    or he was lazy/cheap and repurposed it to let the inverter know when excess PV is being exported so it can divert to the battery

    the battery will have first priority over the excess, theres no real way around it. The zappi can only see power that is leaving the inverter.

    Cheers for the replies, so after a bit of back and forth it turns out when the priority of excess PV is set to charge the battery the Zappi can't see it alright as nothing is leaving the inverter. When it was changed to feed the grid it showed up again.
