    Hi All,

Need some advice please if possible. Bought Sabrina carpenter tickets in July 2024 for her gig on 3rd March in the Three Arena.

I bought 3 x VIP packages which included a VIP box of merchandise and early entry on the night of the gig itself.

Paid over €800 for this package. I have received nothing that was part of the package.

I didn't go personally myself, but the three who I bought them for went in early and were not given early access. The security on the gates were not aware of anything and they had to Que as normal. To date i sill have not received the VIP merchandise package either, having registered for it and given delivery address. The gig was on 3rd March.

I reached out to Ticketmaster via email and on social media platforms and they are more or less saying it's nothing to do with them, it's the event organiser.

I'm just looking for some advise here…

Don't bother with social media and email communications. Write to Ticketmaster detailing the facts and recording their dismissal of your complaint and say that if they again refuse to fulfil their contractual obligations you will be left with no alternative but to pass the matter to your legal representatives and to seek remedy in the courts.

Like write a letter? Excuse my ignorance, but isn't an email just the same thing only in a digital format?

I'm not sure that Ticketmaster handles the VIP part of the ticket on the night of the concert. I bought VIP once many years ago for a gig at Vicar street and I recall the communications didn't come from Ticketmaster, I think it was the promoter, but not 100% sure as it was many years ago. The one thing I'm sure is we got the VIP merchandise on the night of the concert.

It might worth contacting the promoter as well, I assume it was MCD?

2025 gigs: Selofan, Alison Moyet, Wardruna, Eliades Ochoa, Gavin Friday, Orla Gartland, The Courettes, Nine Inch Nails, Rhiannon Giddens, New Purple Celebration, Nova Twins

    hi Op

Bought Sabrina carpenter tickets in July 2024 for her gig on 3rd March in the Three Arena. Paid over €800 for this package. I have received nothing that was part of the package.

Who did you buy it from? Where did your payment go? If the answer is not ticketmaster then they could be right. Check your records and all communications. Whoever got the money from you is the entity you need to chase up.

3 arena might be able to assist your enquiries.

Ticketmaster Ireland is the statement on my card for the transaction. I paid them directly for it.

Nothing to do with the stadium/venue. Complete waste of time asking them.

I would chase it up with the promoter.

Sounds like some uneducated security or possibly a late entry?

I was there queuing with my kids. People were showing their tickets and being shown the correct area in which to queue in. Very orderly and security seemed to point everyone in right directions.

Vip entrance was in one area and very well looked after, being fast tracked in an inside lane into the vip bar area side.

At approx 6.30 they stopped vip admissions and started working on general admissions. As far as I could tell, anyone arriving after that time joined general admission.

I'd say if you paid ticketmaster then the contract is with them, regardless of who was delivering the service. If you wanted to go down the small claims route it would be ticketmaster that you would have the claim against

Yup, but unless they give you a complaint reference and a timeframe you're wasting your time in my experience - it'll be answered by a low-level customer service rep. who will simply cut and paste from the manual and fob you off again. Post a letter to the Director of the relevant department, then email them a copy of the letter and ask them to give you a timeframe for resolving the complaint.
