    Hi all,

here you have me, a completely ignorant on the matter

I had a video call with the company installing the Charger. Installation is arranged by Energia-Kia (New Charger install - Kia offer with new car)

On the videocall, the person looked at my meter and tells me I need to get an electrician to replace the cable going from the meter to the fuse board (from the existing 10mm2 cable to 16mm2 cable)

The fuse board was upgraded when we moved into the house 10 years ago and I assume that is ok

Roughly, what would be the cost of an electrician to carry out such work (replacing cable). ballpark figure

Would I need an Isolator switch as well (I see some houses in my estate that have one beside Charger)

Just want to have an idea on what expectiong, as try to get couple quotes

Factor in a few thousand, whole house had to tested and certified,

Testing might show a few issues which will need sorting out
