Called 2 wheel motorcycles and bikeworld, they sell them before they come in the door seemingly. Can't keep them not even a show bike.

Not surprised really, it's the nicest bike Honda released in Europe in years in my opinion with the exception of the Super Cub of course.

Unfortunately it the next batch are not due until September !

Seems Honda probably thought few would sell that people only want sport and sport tourer…….

I was looking at these for a while, had a thread here about importing one from Japan (before they announced the European release).

I'm not surprised, personally as a new *cough* older rider they tick a lot of boxes.

Saw them in Ballymena Honda last week, so N.I. is an option.

They tick a lot of boxes for a lot of people these days I think, cheap , easy maintain by DIY for most things.

Sales of Sport tour and big cc bikes are in rapid decline and people are moving to lower CC bikes, millions ride 20 Hp bikes such as the Royal Enfields and it's because of huge RE sales Honda and came out with the GB350s and Triumph with the Speed 400. There's millions of people on the Super Cub 125s @9 Hp and quite happy with them.

The sound of the GB350s bike is great, Honda did a good job with that.

I think the new Kawasaki w230 looks the best if Kawasaki Ireland decide to import it that would be great and it's only 143 Kg. The clocks on it are really lovely and something I feel Honda should have had on the GB350s.

What did you think of it ?

If someone was to bring down from the North they'd get stung for VAT wouldn't they ?

Most of the dealers up north can sort it out for people buying from the south (on new bikes). I'd say more people here buy new Ducati's from Millsport that from Rosso in Dublin.

What did I think of the 350 ? It's a nice thing, doesn't float my boat at the mo. Obviously aimed at the Enfield 350 and Triumph 400 market (no bad thing), and being a Honda, will be bulletproof. No idea what it's like to drive, though.

Well, not 'stung', because they wouldn't charge you the UK/NI VAT on it in the first place, so you're only going to pay VAT once, the Irish VAT.

I got a quote from them for a new bike last week, and it's very straightforward.
