Maybe not songs that make you sad but songs that allow to express your sadness or feel connected to someone else's sadness ..

I've shared this before & I'll never forget my reaction probably the first 50times I heard it.

The conflicting emotions of him being lost/numb yet still feeling so much.

The racing along an empty beach, the screaming, trying anything to get some relief from everything that's going through his head.

The door there within sight but taking every ounce of strength to finally walk through.

Then the scene at the end in therapy, where he's deep breathing & crying after letting it all out 🪦

Never had a song have such an impact on my little heart 💔
