Agreed. It's a nice way to unwind for the evening especially when it's a day off the following day - Sunday always feels like a Saturday on a long weekend. 😁

Tyres for this race are softer by one.

Last year most did the C3 medium before moving to the C2 hard.

This year the hard is C3.

I'm thinking the soft C5 will only be seen in the Qualifying and not in the race, and most will do a one stop mix of C3 and C4.

So that's FP1 over with, feels strange seeing the track in daylight, great track though. @Jordan 199 will be happy seeing an Alpine topping the times. Yuki matching Max which is good for him although Max once again struggling with balance. Think I'd like to see Max (and GP) move to Merc for 2026, Toto will keep Kimi and boot George out.

F2 qualifying on now. Jeez these cars are slow, 1 min 44s compared to the F1 cars on 1min 29s from free practice. Anyway, come on Dunne. 🙂
