I've bought a couple of those war movies DVD/Mags that are on sale at the moment. I got "Where Eagles Dare" and "The Longest Day". I wasn't that interested in "Bridge over the river Kwai" or "The Dirty Dozen". They are doing "Das Boot" (Directors widescreen version) next which is one of my favorite war films. "Where Eagles Dare" is probably my favorite. Its also probably my favorite movie to watch at christmas for some odd reason. Must be all that snow. What do you think of this series? It doesn't seem to be any cheaper than just buying the DVD elsewhere though it makes it easier to get them. What do think?
