    Toughie...!

It's a toss-up between 'Gigli', 'Spice World' and 'Police Academy: Mission to Moscow'

    Do trilogies count?

    If so; LOTR
    If not; Pulp Ficiton

    Both class :)

THE MATRIX TRILOGY!!!!!! (as one film)

That's my default one because it's just sooo good nothing can beat it.

But instead I'll put in my tied 2nd places: American Beauty and Donnie Darko.

THE MATRIX TRILOGY!!!!!! (as one film)

    For shame.
Even when you take it as one whole film, there is no way that The Matrix can make up for both Reloaded and Revolutions.

Matrix on its own = Amazing
    Reloaded " " " = Not bad
    Revolutions " " " = Poo

I'll admit I own the three of them, but just because I freak out if I don't complete things like that.

Toss up between Lepruachan 4: in space and Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.

Well they are both better than the two matrix sequels.

Damn right... you mean you haven't?!?

Will give you my Police Academy Boxset (http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0001907DA/702-7529673-6191205)..

Also, forgot your Shawshank Redemption's and your 'Godfather's... Gigli has some of the best quotes of our time, want some proof:

    Gigli

    Ricki: It's turkey time.
    Larry Gigli: What?
    Ricki: Come on, gobble, gobble.

Larry Gigli: [breaking someone's laptop] Suck my dick.com

Det. Stanley Jacobellis: Man, you know what I'd love to do, right now? Go down to Marie Callender's, get me a big bowl of pie, some ice cream on it, mmm hmm good! Put some on your head! Your tongue would slap your brains out trying to get to it! INTERESTED? SURE?

Larry: She's a stone cold dike. A ****ing untouchable, unhaveable, unattainable brick wall ****ing dike-a-saurus rexi. So its sad. Okay? What you want me to do? I feel ****ing sadness about that. There's nothing I can ****ing do.

Jesus yes! My absolute favourite film of the last ten years. Magical. However, a year of trying to convince any of my buddies to rent out this masterpiece has robbed me of all hope that it will ever be recognised for the amazing work it is.

OMG. Punch Drunk Love is the most overrated piece of muck I have seen in a very long time. A great premise ruined. Romantic dialogue like "I want to smash your face in", and a score lifted from a cheap porno movie.

I get indie movies - I'm not a 15 yr American kid - but this movie is the cinematic equivalent of 'The Emperor's New Clothes'. Wooo PTA directed it - it must be cool. Bollocks! Self indulgent tripe!

its not the best movie ever but punch drunk love is a DAMN fine movie, one of the best of the last few years imo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,838 ✭✭✭DapperGent

I'm a big PTA fan loved Hard Eight and Boogie Nights. Magnolia is one of my favourite films of all time.

But in all honesty Punch Drunk Love is a god awful pointless piece of steaming shít.
