Thats a pretty cool song but the best C&C tune has to be "mechanical man" from the original game

Just work it out. A bit of effort and you'll be playing it in no time.

I can pretty much play the rhythm of it - it's not that hard - a class tune to play. I played it in a pub at home once and everyone was "That's a fkin mad tune! What is it?"

However, kind hearted soul that I am, I'll write it up this weekend if I think of it - I'm gonna be very VERY drunk cause it's one of my best mate's 21st wink.gif

aaww thx man smile.gif i would try to work it out myself but im probably not good enough to do that yet, but i should be able to play it with some tab help tho....

mechanical man did rok, but hell march is more suited to guitar tho i'd say, i'd just need to get an army or sumtin to make the marchin sounds....

Just grab a sample off the net somewhere.

I plan to start using my PC to help me write songs - add in little weird tid-bits nere and there - just for fun wink.gif

OK, I don't have the tab written out, but I was playing it last night and I can tell you this much....

You need to drop D the tuning so the guitar is tuned D A D G B e

The intro (prob best played on a bass, but works well on a guitar) is something like:
    e-------------------------------------------------------
    B-------------------------------------------------------
    G-------------------------------------------------------
    D-------------------------------------------------------
    A-------------------------------------------------------
    D-0-0-0-1-0-0-3-0-0-------------------------------------
(do this a few times then)
    e-------------------------------------------------------
    B-------------------------------------------------------
    G-------------------------------------------------------
    D-------------------------------------------------------
    A-------3-----------------------------------------------
    D-3-4-5---5-4-3-----------------------------------------

After this, kick into some heavy overdrive and go mad with:
    e-------------------x-----------------------------------
    B-------------------x-----------------------------------
    G-------------------x-----------------------------------
    D-0-0-0-1-0-0-3-0-0-x-----------------------------------
    A-0-0-0-1-0-0-3-0-0-x-----------------------------------
    D-0-0-0-1-0-0-3-0-0-x-----------------------------------
    (X means mute the strings)
    e-------------------------------------------------------
    B-------------------------------------------------------
    G-------------------------------------------------------
    D-------------------------------------------------------
    A-------3-----------------------------------------------
    D-3-4-5---5-4-3------------------------------------

OK, that's the basics. Then the bridge is *something* along the lines of:
    e-------------------------------------------------------
    B-------------------------------------------------------
    G-------------9-9-9-7-7-7-------------12-12-12-12-12-12-
    D-2-2-2-2-2-2-------------3-3-3-3-3-3-------------------
    A-2-2-2-2-2-2-7-7-7-5-5-5-3-3-3-3-3-3-10-10-10-10-10-10-
    D-2-2-2-2-2-2-------------3-3-3-3-3-3-------------------

    e-------------------------------------------------------
    B-------------------------------------------------------
    G-------------9-9-9-7-7-7-------------------------------
    D-2-2-2-2-2-2-------------3-3-3-3-3-3-6-6-6-6-6-6-------
    A-2-2-2-2-2-2-7-7-7-5-5-5-3-3-3-3-3-3-6-6-6-6-6-6-------
    D-2-2-2-2-2-2-------------3-3-3-3-3-3-6-6-6-6-6-6-------

There's another bit, but I'm damned if I can remember it. I'll fire it up tomorrow!

    All the best,

    Dav

Well, I was at the final of a Battle Of The Bands that some mates of mine were playing in - they woz robbed and I was too depressed to go out afterwards (or to write tab).

As for an MP3 - I'd have some only I forgot to sort it out last weekend when I was playing a gig!

Anyway - If I can tonight, I'll do the rest of the song smile.gif
