am of the opinion that people can give and receive rep as they see fit. as long as they are not using it to hurling abuse at other people in the way they were when repping was anonymous and in some cases they still do.

It is the rep thread after rep thread that clutter up the boards that take away from the boards. that is it really.

I'm lobbying the admins to reset the rep counts or kill the system or more productively turn it into something completely different.

IMHO, it wont see out the Spring but thats just my belief. Personally I use the Minimalist colour scheme so everyone's rep is grey!

I do like having the ability to easily send other users off thread comments and I think it keeps a lot of crap off the forums. I hope this feature will survive what ever action the Admins decide to take.

I take it Johnny Foreigner is right on this thread when he says the rep has been switched...good=bad and vice versa?

If its true DeV, you're only gonna cause more bitching and fighting. At this stage, is it possible to consider making a posters rep only visible to themselves? Nobody else could see the green/red count, and that way The Muppet's suggestion that its a good way to keep crap off-thread remains an option?

Otherwise, get rid altogether.

An apology to all the mods of ICDG might have gained you some leniency early on but you persisted with the muppetry instead.

I don't think it would of made much of a differance!!

Aren't some people so delicate, I had to debate with myself weather to answer this or not as I don't think it will make much of a difference. But seeing that you went to so much trouble digging up old files I've decided to humour you!

As for you first quote I'm sure there must be a worse case of trolling than that i've done, I'm after reading it a couple of times you were smart with me about "its the sticks" so I replyed with "can't read".

And as for the second quote (at least you have the facts) I think you over estimate me if you think I'd be bothered to go back and edit that I still can't see any real harm in that commet.

Sarcasim I'll admit to be guilty of, but some people will have to take life a little bit less seriously. I know and its been quoted many time's before that boards isn't a democracy but you do have your head bottlewashers.
