Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have read the threads about the sky+ 160 launch later this month. We have a standard sky box downstairs but have a digisender setup on it allowing us to watch and control sky on other tv's in the house but only one channel at a time.

With Sky+, will it be possible to watch seperate channels on seperate tv's via a digisender?

No. With a sky+ and a digisender you will be able to record one channel while watching another but the sky+ box is not capable of outputting two seperate channels at one time.

You will be able to watch a FTA channel seperately from your original box if you get it connected, or if you pay for the sky multi-room option you can use it to watch a pay channel seperately from the sky+ box.

Thanks John. Could I ask you if you can operate both a Sky card and FTA card from the same Sky box - we have a bog standard Sky Box which we got about 2 years ago.

FTA is Free To Air - no card required.
FTV cards give access to ITV, ch4, five If you want to know about them read the old threads on the subject in thread in this forum.

is this a dopey question? How practible is it to use a digisender to send out the output of a VHS or DVD player? if you are using the digisender to send it, I presume that means you have to split the signal out of ht eback of it, one to go to the digisender...one to go to the TV that it is actually serving?

I got 2 of the Lidl ones...are they worth while hanging onto? and whats the usual way people use them for?

Mossy...On the Digisender, What is the make & model & Can select for it to transmit on different frequencies. ie, could you have a second set of digisenders running independantly without conflict.

Yes. I have two digisenders (Lidl - make is Welltech), one sender on my full package sky box and the other on my uk ftv box. I have the first one on channel A and the uk one on channel D. So I can switch from one box to the other upstairs by changing the channel. And it doesn't matter which receiver the signal goes to.

    Works perfectly.
