I cant belive Im the first to say it, but its Dec 1st and now starts the31 drunken days of christmas, the horrible pissy time of year when the only thing you have to look forward to is over eating on christmas day and feeling like a fool for what you did or sang in your local on christmas eve. Although I am looking forward to all the nieces and nephews being around.

I like christmas....its a fun holiday, and at least it is a holiday. Bad stuff happens anyway, but you don't have the fluffy cushion of christmas around it. Things only seem worse cause its a lovey time of the year, so all that togetherness magnifies everything.

I love the shopping,the smell of the greasepaint, the roar of the crowds, the little victories--and I'm small enough to be dangerous. Christmas violence, nothing like a panic to get the good folks a shoving/kicking/biting/fill in as appropriate.

Watch out.....the miniture shoppers about.

I bought all my pressies in the Summer sales at the beginning of September!
I got all my stuff at reduced prices and had no mad crowds to battle with.
