    Dear Praetorian,

    I am all in favour of addictions. Addictions are what make us unique or something. My advice is to have an espresso machine hooked up to your veins. It will be like having dialysis, only, instead of preventing organ failure, it will be causing it.

    You are suffering a lack of "real life experiences". These can be obtained from all good bookshops, as far as I know. (I've never been outside.) Alternatively, you need a puppy to complete you, a la Nelly McKay.
