    Well its claimed the Edison made the first moving picture 1910 "Frankenstein", but are you asking about "Hollywood" as the Metro, Golwyn, Myer Hollywood, ie where does / when "hollywood" start??

    Okay I don't really understand what you mean so i'll just tell you the answer, the first ever movie that was made in Hollywood was "In Old California" made by D.W. Griffith in 1910. It is about a spanish maiden's liason with a future Governer of California.

    So, because of the confusion with the last question, I'll ask a new question, What is the name of Africa's largest lake and Australia's smallest mainland state?
