Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

just thought id post this here to see if there was any interest.

I collect and have done now for a couple of years, players shirts. ie matchworn or issued to the player in question. Have a couple now in my collection, if you have a good source to get them its super but buying them can be an expensive process and you have to make sure your not being taken for a ride. Have a few valuable liverpool ones in my collection.

Anybody else have any match worn shirts??

I've got Kenny Cunningham's Ireland jersey vs Croatia September 1998. Signed by the team too.

I recently got Scott Parkers jersey that he wore for Charlton vs Chelsea. Bought it off e-bay for only really a few quid more than I would have paid for a normal new jersey.

PS - Love the signature Shamrok!

It's a long story. The short version is that Kenny gave it to a mutual friend and he gave it to me. I have a signed Leeds United team one from 2001-02 as well. Not played in though — just a replica.

Is there a difference between real jersies and replicas? Is there any way to know if that was just a fan's ordinary jersey and he wanted rid of it because Parker had left them, so by getting £46 he basically gets his new jersey for free?

yeah there are differences alright. The materials are different, they're made in different countries to replica (usually), name number and badges are different and the tags are different. Dont know the differences for the charlton shirt but for all nike reebok adidas etc.. the above usually applies

Yeah it has a different size of Premier League badge on the sleeve of it, and you can clearly feel that the material is of a much higher quality.
