Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking for a system, which is reliable, will work in near line of sight (2m section of building in the way), but rest is clear. I'd say there would be a lot of reflection.

With a distance of 200m. Looking for 5.8Ghz and at least 20Mbps.

We are using 2 * Dlink 900AP's at the moment, blasting 2.4 ghz and getting about 3Mbps.

Any suggestions or suppliers you would point to?

It would have to be gear that you could install and walk away from and know it would work.

I've experience solving a near line of sight WLAN connection, for a company i used to work for, and they let me try a few things. 5.8 didn't give me the distance (should not be in your case) so i used 2.4. Quite a few brands didn't work (there was a tree obstructing LOS) but the EnGenius bridges worked, they give high power 100mW output. I used indoor units, connected to outdoor directional antenna. Check www.basewireless.net for info. I used the 3054CB3+ and got a 54Mbps connection!
