I think its good and will hopefully attract some media attention for cycling in the city.

They should have a hands-on session where all the conference participants are obliged to cycle around the canals or something. Sort out the junketeers.

Quite a few cyclists think it might just turn into a junket and that it will have no real effect on the ground.
