not bad but they got plastic lenses on them

if they get near very hot or very cold places they fog up and takes ages
    to clear up

    i got a pair .

but a good deal for the cost

The ones I got 2 years ago (same brand etc) have glass in them... are you sure about the plastic lenses?

And they are a fantastic buy alright.

mabye the ones you got 2 years ago are glass

    but mine are deffo plastic

    cause i opened them up.

i know that in most things theres grade a and grade b stuff

    for example
i got sony blank vhs 4 hour tapes in lidl for 5 euro

and i was in liverpool and got the same sony tapes
but when i opened the plastic wraping
the stickers were cheap looking and on the flip top of the cassette
where you can see the spool of tape there was no sony markings

    i emailed sony europe
and the reply i got was they have grade a and grade b stuff
so id say its a simalar case.

hope this info helps you mate

its just based on what happened me..

    Good ones would.
I'd imagine that zoom ones would not be as goods 8x50's because of moving parts to misalign. Also since there are more bounces and prisms in them binoculars loose more light than a scope.
But a good pair of binoculars is better than a very cheap toy scope.
