Just interested in people's experiences of these cars. They were one of the most common cars on Irish Roads for many years even long after they went out of production. I'd say there's hardly a person in Ireland who hasn't been in one/driven one at some point. I haven't seen one on the road since 1996 and you don't see them…

Yeah Silvera I have seen a few K30 coupes. Very distinctive rear lights on them as I recall. They were quite rare even in the 80s but you did see them occasionally. The coupe had a saloon type boot opening didn't it. As opposed to a "liftback" one. There was a liftback Corolla produced in the seventies but I don't think it was available in the Irish market and it had quite a different style than the K30 saloon and coupe.
