    Frank Zappa's "Best Band You Never Heard In Your Life" double is savage. It was recorded on one of his last tours and features an incredible reggae version of "Stairway To Heaven" amongst other gems.

    Black Sabbath's "Live eviL" isn't half bad either, especially for Ronnie James Dio giving it some serious welly, knowing that it was being recorded live. And the arguements that followed the mixing of the album add to it's greatness. The tunes are cool too, even the Dio penned stuff!

    Mystery white boy by jeff buckley is fantastic

    but live and dangerous by thin lizzy is even better even though it's only 75% live

    First off - Muddy banks of the wishkah is an attrotious album - dont get me wrong i love nirvana but the recording quality etc.. of that album is terrible!!!

    Unplugged in new york - So much better - absolutely fupping brilliant!!

    Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous - Orgasmically good - possibly the greatest album ever!!!

    also one not mentioned - Garth Brooks - Double Live album!!!

    also not an album but Iron Maiden's live version of Fear of the Dark is is absolutely Fupping Brilliant!!!!!!!!

    but seriously folks, I actually love Paul Weller's latest live album -Day's Of Speed.
    can't think of any other decent live ones that no one's mentioned so far atm

    Someone mentioned the Portishead live in New York album earlier. Got it there recently and it's the first album in about 2 years to *really* blow my mind.
