Big Accident?

Was just playing football in UCD beside the dual carraige way, and 3 ambulences with 2 cop cars went by together. Then a few minutes later, 2 more went by with more police, and then again, a few minutes after that, another ambulence with a police bike and unmarked police car. It seemed that they were all going together (poilce accompaniment).Anyone heard of a big accident anywhere. Never seen a convoy of ambulences flying down the dual carraigeway before.

And yes im fully aware that Vincents is close by but this seemed unusual.

    Maybe just a coincidence

    clicky

Five people have been injured in a traffic accident near the Druid's Glen golf course in Co Wicklow.

The accident involving a car and a four-wheel drive took place on the road between Newtownmountkennedy and Kilcoole at around 8.15pm.

The injured have been taken to St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin. It is understood two of them are in a serious condition.

Why vincents? What do they specialise in? Collumcilles in loughlanstown is much closer....

i wasnt driving the ambulance, but the report said they are in vincents. Maybe loughlinstown was full, it usually is. Vincents specialise in having better resources than loughlinstown.

when i was knocked down last year, i was rushed to lochenstown hospital. then to vincents. vincents has a special dept for road victims, which lochenstown can-not provide.
