Hmmm- it did have its uses, but was a much abused resource. Did anyone get an automatic banning from being neg repped by people? I seem to remember one individual with 6 red bottles to their name (haven't seen them around in a while....)

All-in-all it detracted from the substance of threads- people delibertly pleading for rep in postings and signatures...... back to business as usual again!

I'm kind of happy that the rep system is gone for the most part, then again I'm kind of annoyed that all the sad bastards with 1 red dot have won a small moral victory, not to mention the people that kept posting about negative rep.

Maybe someday we'll see a more comprehensive karma system integrated into boards.ie!

I am not sorry to see it gone, it got frustrating in the end trying to keep up with repping people back who repped you...got a bit out of hand tbh.
