You could try ringing http://www.tiglin.com/ or the forums on http://www.climbing.ie/. I'm afraid thats the only help I can give you.

If you work for somebody else, you will be poor all your life as it is a notoriously badly paid sector.

If you start up your own outdoor pursuits business, you will, if you're good enough at the business and marketing side, make a lot of money. You could of course do this in a partnership with a business focussed person.

Gain as much experience as you can in all aspects of outdoor activities, both here and abroad. Pay as much attention to the business side of the operations as you do to the actual pursuits. Then, when you feel you're ready, set up your own operation, work really really hard for 5 - 10 years, sell up and retire to doing what you want to do.

If this sounds like advise based on real experience, it's because it is :-).

    Good luck.
