Music to the ears of fans as an extra 2,000 tickets are released!
    News last updated: 22-06-2001
Exclusive - MCD today announced that due to the overwhelming public demand for tickets to see international artists David Gray, Van Morrison and Sting, they have decided to transfer the shows to the larger 12,000 capacity Marley Park, Rathfarnham venue.

Thus, an extra 2,000 tickets for each concert will go on sale this Monday 25 July 2001 from usual ticket outlets nationwide.

Tickets originally purchased for the 10,000 capacity Smithfield venue are now valid for the new Marlay Park venue.

The last concert held at Marlay Park was the annual FM104's Monster Day Out last August which attracted over 45,000 people, however the above shows will have a strictly limited capacity of only 12,000 people.
The original dates of concerts remain unchanged.
