Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Young hot-shot

A young Canadian called James-David White aged 15 is set to choose
between Aston Villa, Liverpool and Chelsea according to the Canadian
    FA.
He has averaged 2 goals a game for the canada under 19's and recently
snubbed a move to Inter Milan because he didn't want to learn a new
    language.

Tomas Radzinski recently described him as the hottest prospect
outside europe, and american magazine Sports Illustrated describe him
as "better than Freddy Adu, the only reason he isn't as well known is
because his back story is not as interesting".

His parents are english, and he recently moved back to the midlands
from Alberta, Canada. This makes Aston Villa favourites to sign him,
but he has been photographed in a Steven Gerrard Liverpool shirt.

Only a kid, but pretty exciting methinks.

Judging by the occassional reports on their website, Liverpool seem to have their worst ever youth teams at the moment! So he'd be well needed...

    Ah you gotta love hype.

Didn't want to learn a new language? "Lazy" (said in best David Brent accent)

Well if he goes to Liverpool he will have to learn scouse, some would call that a new language. :D

I think I can detect a slight scouse twang in Benitez already. He could be the next Jan Molby!

The worst "twang" was Schmeichel near the end of his time at Utd,then you have the likes of David O'Leary over in the UK over 30 years and he still has a tick Dub accent

I love the way the article refers to revenge over Liam Miller going to United. Just make sure ye don't train and develop him just to get passed to them again in 3 or 4 years ;)

Anyone know what happened to that English kid from years ago who was with Ajax and was supposed to be the next big thing? He was on Fantasy Football League if that helps jog the memory for people.

Can anyone remember a "next big thing" who actually turned out to be any good? Not counting players who have already played first-team football for a decent size.

That has got to be the most pathetic excuse for not going to a club.... whatever happened to ambition?

And hope he is not another guy who spends most of his time on the treatment bench!
