Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

right this kind of spans every discipline so apologies for posting it in a few different places!

After the huge success of the Big Bang multi-media event, which Blackfort had the pleasure of organising in July 2004.Blackfort are proud to announce another full day cross-genre event. Blackfort in collaboration with Compactrisc will be curating the results for the long-running physical remix project, these will be displayed over two city centre venues. As part of this event:
Final Call for submission for Physical Remix Project :

We want you to help us creatively destroy/recycle 300 records in the name of Art. The first pressing of the Herv single "Warmduscher"/"Demian" came back to us mispressed.

You will need to send a rough outline of submission stating how many records you will need to sarahblackfort@yahoo.co.uk. The Records will be posted to you. The final piece is to be submitted as outlined below.

Deadline for submissions 19th of February

we welcome sumissions in CDR/ Video, Photography, Installations, theatre, live sound work and performance art.

    Submission should include:

Name, Address, Contact Telephone Number, Email, CV or Biography.

Work should indicate title, medium, duration, description with technical requirements for installation/exhibtion.

Please do not send original copies of art work as Blackfort will not be held responsible for loss of work.

Sound works to be submitted on CD.

Live music / Sound performance : Enclose detailed description of proposed performance (if appropriate), samples / demos of work on CD.

Performance Art: visual documentation and or description of proposed work.

Photography : submitted on CD, we project a digital slideshow in order of sequence.
