    lol, J to the motha****in B smile.gif
Interesting Fact #128. Craig Johnstone the ex Liverpool player wrote that rap.

Best footie song is Put em under pressure simply for the memories smile.gif

Even tho its an english one, Footballs Coming Home is a cracker. 80,000 people singing it at euro 96 at wembley was a sound to behold.

My workmate (a Liverpool fan, but what can you do) claims that Johnstone wrote the infamous 'Anfield Rap' rather than Barnes's bit in World in Motion....

Being a complete liverpool fanatic has nothing to do with me choosing "youll never walk alone"

Never intended to become related with football but tis truly a beautiful song to hear bellowing around the hallowed Anfield or any stadium for that matter,

The lyrics are evry true to football in ways,

Also the memories of singing it with all the other Irish fans at the half time interval in the Amsterdam Arena last septemebr was truly something to behold

... and because it used a classic Horslips riff... and because the squad featured in it could actually sing their part... and because it still serves as a brilliant crowd chant at games... and...

well I could go on... but I won't.

In short... I AGREE WITH HIM!!!

    Ah

    Celtic Symphony by Wolfe Tones.
Here we go again, we're on the road again.
We're on the road again, we're on the way to paradise.
We love the jungle deep, that's where the lion sleeps
For then those evil eyes, they have no place in paradise
Graffiti on the walls, just as the sun was going down
I see graffiti on the walls - for the Celts! for the Celts!
Graffiti on the walls says we're magic, we're magic,
    Graffiti on the wall

Heard a good one the other day, it went something like:

You're the one that I want
    ooh ooh ooh, honey
    The one that I want,
    ooh ooh ooh, honey
    The one that I want,
    ooh ooh ooh, honey
    The one I need
    oh yes indeed

to a catchy song. Not sure where they got it from though...
