Dimebag Darrell shot dead last night

It wasn't shocking. They just knew that everyone was at their concerts for a good time, which was always the case, otherwise it wouldn't have been happening. I'm sure it never even crossed their minds that some nut would jump up on stage and shoot Dime...

I didn't mean shocking that they allowed the fans up, I mean it's shocking when you see that they did allow that, then when Gale tryed to get up they probably thought he just wants to stage dive or give one of the guys a high five..we will never know why though...

And what makes this incident so much worse for fans is that any band who may have allowed fans onstage sure as hell won't do it now.

I'm gonna bump this thread back to the first page, because the anniversary draws near.

EDIT: btw, theres a postery thing up on the door of music maker for a Tribute Concert for Dimebag, I can't remember anything it said though, expect for 9pm, and Eyesclosed are playing. can somebody please check this out for everybody.

I heard something about this before,i think the band are called Primal Concrete Sledge and they are playing on the 10th in Whealans.But im not positive about all of this

Hey Numina, the ad in musicmaker is for a Pantera tribute band called Dime-ination (clever aint it) which features members of both Eyesclosed and Silent Conflict. They are savage!

I just thought I'd post a few pictures (/links to pictures) of Dimebag, for a years rememberance.





It's hard to believe it has been a year since he left us.

Strangely enough, within this year the metal scene has completely died in my area after Dimebag's passing. There have been next to no bands playing in this area since. Metal, for me anyway, seems so dull without a genious like Dimebag releasing music. Gone, but not forgotten.

RIP Dimebag.
