Yeah I definitely agree that the worst sig's are the PC Spec ones then the bent firefox promo's (most people seem to like it cause it's fringe, like independent movies, which are 90% crap).
Then there are sig's which just look crap and don'tr make sense

Any sig that has blatant spelling or grammar errors. (Because yes, I'm that much of a grammar pedant.)

Any sig that has system specs. (For reasons people have already said, I don't want to know how much better your computer is than mine.)

Any sig that has writing in the same size and font as normal posts. (Because then I think it's part of the post initially. Writing is fine as long as it's interesting/witty in a non pun way, or just easily identifiable as a sig, so I can ignore it.)

Any sig that has big obnoxious pictures.

Those'd be the ones that spring to mind...

And now "sig" is losing all meaning...

i like my sig, primarily cause it took me ages cause im crap with php. it takes the RSS feed from my site and uses the php gd to generate the sig on the fly each time its viewed. it's actually in the same vain as those super-crap 'your operating system is...' sigs, but i hope not as retarded/annoying. it was quite the achievment for a non developer like myself.

I like sigs, and i like making them.
