This appears to have many advantages and is used extensively in mainland Europe instead of cavity filling. In my case I want to insulate/weatherproof an old rural dwelling.Is it feasible to fix/glue polystirene boards to the old,smooth rendering and plaster over with standard mortar mix. Any thoughts much appreciated.
