neighbours dog just had 4 pups (3 female, 1 male) the mother is a short-haired jack-russel, they are only about 2 weeks old, and so far no-one is interested in taking one, no idea what the father is.

The pups must be at least 8 weeks old before they're old enough to leave their mother so you've still a good 6 weeks to find them homes. You should be grand. Maybe put a few ads up in shop windows etc?

Have your neighbours ever heard of neutering?
Makes me sick to see posts like this and then look out my window to (literally) see 20 strays pass by every hour.
