Still on the look out for a good second hand MTB, Hardtail is what I would like, bare in mind I can buy brand new Specialized in cycleways for about 850 so I want to pay less.A good second hand bike that is a few years old is worth about half its original price and a bit less depending on its condition.

This should make an interesting thread !! Comments please

Go onto the http://www.mtbireland.com forum and post your request in the Buy and Sell section.

Most active MTB'rs have several bikes and there's a good trade in 2nd hand ones.

Some MTB shops in Northern Ireland sell 2nd hand bikes, I got a 3/4 year old Specialized Stumpjumper for a low price up there, some shop in Lisburn. Prices are always much better up North, its just the trip is a pain.
