Have setup SquidNT on laptop so can have IE use Firefox cache.
Also means SquidNT looks after the internet connetion when I'm on different unconnected networks - Direct / proxy1 / proxy2

cache_peer proxy1 sibling 3128 3130
cache_peer proxy2 parent 8080 0 no-query default

when SquidNT working off proxy1 (squid) no problems
Browsers are fine when connecting directly to proxy2
when SquidNT working off proxy2 (non-squid, ICP not work) - it won't find any page with a '?' on it.

I can open www.boards.ie - but then clicking on a link returns:
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?

The following error was encountered:

Unable to determine IP address from host name for www.boards.ie

The dnsserver returned:

Timeout

This means that:

The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct.

Edit - DNS is OK too.
