Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

UHF Broadband Reception

We receive our British channels from the Westport UHF 'deflector' system. The channels are in group B from chs. 39 to 49. However we also get TV3 on channel 67 since TV3 (skinflints!) do not broadcast their own signal into Mayo. I use a (grp. W) broadband aerial (square one) with a grp. W masthead amplifier. There is also a channel filter behind the tv blocking out Grp. A signals from the RTE Castlebar (9KW) transmitter. Problem in the summer is that TV3 seems to weaken. I have heard that wideband aerials and amplifiers do not perform well at the very ends of the UHF spectrum, hence the bad TV3 coverage on CH. 67. possibly? Would a Grp. E directional aerial and Grp. E masthead amplifier help here? Or maybe a Grp. E amplifier with the existing aerial on its own? Any suggestions?
