eircom - still causing problems?

but i think its something to watch out for.
just signed up to get my phone turned back on - in a rented house so everything was all there , just wasnt sure if i was getting a phone or not.
anyway it was mentioned on boards somewhere that eircom were doing free reconnections.
so i went to the site and sure enought, they were.
that swung it for me so a week or two ago i finallly got everything sorted and 1901 turned the line on, also mentioning the free reconnection.
got my bill today, 51eu and a few cents
line rental PLUS reconnection fee of 24eu
so speak to there interactive menu for 5 minutes and then on hold for a few more before i have to give up and go back to work.
anyone else have problems with this.
ill be onto them on my next break aswell
ill post up whats to happen with it
an unexpected 50eu bill to be paid by christmas eve does not make me
