Update - Tattoo The Planet Rescheduled
    News last updated: 12-09-2001

The TATTOO THE PLANET rock music event - scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, September 13th) at The Point - has been rescheduled due to circumstances arising from yesterday's tragic events in the U.S.

It will now take place on either Tuesday, October 9th or Thursday, October 11th.

A definite rescheduled date will be announced this Monday, September 17th.

Concert headliners Slayer, plus Static-X are among the acts on the bill unable to travel due to continuing airport disruptions in the United States following yesterday's events.

All tickets are valid for the new date and refunds are available from point of purchase.

    MCD regret any inconvenience caused.

Check back here at mcd.ie for more updates.

    statement from pantera.com:

    Statement from Pantera
    12 September 2001

There are no words worthy to express the sorrow we feel for those who lost loved ones in yesterday's terrible tragedy.

We have made the decision to cancel our participation in the upcoming "Tattoo the Planet" tour of Europe that was scheduled to begin tomorrow, Thursday, September 13.

We apologize to our international friends and fans that we planned on jamming and partying with, but there is absolutely nothing in the world worth compromising their safety or ours.
