Hey....
anyone know where I could get mpeg's or videos of any of the following? Although preferably mpeg!

Pearl Jam - any concerts or live shows really, but especially their MTV unplugged performance.

Jamiroquai - any live shows or performances.

and also Paul Weller or U2... basically any bootlegs, or whatever....!!

I have about 3 unplugged, & about 4 of their music videos.

I just downloaded them off any P2P like Kazaa or Morpheus.

I also ripped some off the Pearl Jam Touring Band DVD (Oceans & do the Evolution)


You can download them all very easily & they;re readily available.

Hopefully I can get them all & then burn them onto a VCD

I not exactly sure but....

There are ways of getting around the firewall prob. For instance I know in UCD, which is firewalled ppl often have a used Songspy.com which has some proxy setting.

Best maybe to post something on the Nets/Comms or Technology board as others might know more about that

But to confirm your original query, The mpegs are available for d/l all over the place

... or you can try Hotline. this is a client/server type of program that mac users have been hiding from us its very good and dedicated. new version 2.0 should be out soon...

all you have to do is go to a good search engine for Hotline, Tracker-Tracker or HotlineHQ and search the servers. oh yeah if you gonna search make sure you use inverted commas or you gonna find some nasty movies

AFAIK it'll operate through the conventional web browser and searches various FTP sites

best bet for vids (imho) is IRC
if yer lookin for metal/hard rock/bleh vids, #metal_Videos on dalnet , or #mp3_metal on undernet

or for just general vids, a few chans I've found on dalnet to be v. good are #videomp3express , #mpg_direct , and #2kmusicvideos .

there's hundreds of em on many diff irc networks anyway.

I know all the standard methods... but behind a firewall, I can't access IRC either... so thanks for the help lads, but I won't have any joy, unless I'm running without the firewall.... cheers:D
