    No chance. Its controlled totally by chart ratings. Thats why they have MTV2.

    I think.

    Either that or they're just ripping everybody off.

    What MTV definitely SHOULD bring back is Ray Cokes and MTV's most wanted... that was when MTV was worth watching! Classic stuff...

    LOL! Ray Cokes had a great show........

    Of course it's as likely to come back as is Mike Judge likely to be asked to make more Beavis & Butthead episodes.

    If oyu really need rock music on TV VH1-Classic does it by night ("Smooth by day......*rock* by night") on Sky Digital.

    MTV is owned by Viacom, who own lots of other things too. Very very big player in world TV and Film

    Man, headbangers ball ONWED Super rock.

    Super Rock was nothing but the more commercial side of metal, like Aerosmith & a load of other "Hard Rock" bands that were pretty much radio friendly.

    Headbangers Ball played some real good stuff.
    Was watching a load of video's my mate had taped from it, and man!
    Oh... Memories...
    A time when MTV was good.
    A time when they'd play some decent music.

    I mean, back then My Dying Bride would be played!
    And some pretty ****ed up Carcass videos.
