Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A new Dublin laneway is to be named St Valentine's Way after the saint whose remains have lain in the city for over 160 years. Dublin Corporation have voted to name the new link between Mercer Street Lower and Digges Lane St Valentine's Way, in honour of the resting place of the saint's bones, which are kept in nearby Whitefriars Church. The original suggestion for the name was Mercer Crescent.

Fianna Fail Councillor Garry Keegan, whose suggestion it was, says the lane has the potential of becoming a site for tourists, especially when plans for a revamp of the Camden Street area start to take shape. "The spot should be marked by a plaque or a significant sculpture marking Dublin's special relationship with the saint," he said.
